I experienced this concept last Fall when I was invited to speak at a STEM conference that used the virtual campus technology created by Virbela. I created an avatar of myself that I used to walk around campus, attend other sessions, take a walk on the virtual beach, take the virtual speed boat out for a spin. I delivered my presentation using my avatar as a virtual presence. I set up my personalized room layout for my session conference room. I had six projection screens to project my deck, my logo, website, handouts and real myself on video. Virtual reality can be amazing!
